Covoltaic Power System of Standardization Administration of ChinaTianjin Institute of Power SourcesCCPIT Pudong Sub-Council Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Corp.

AsiaSolar is the most influential and fast-growing solar photovoltaic technology trade fair. It has now become Asia’s predominant pv expo.

We expect that this year’s event will be substantially larger than in recent years because of the greatly increased level of interest in photovoltaics in the Asia region - especially in China. The solar industry in China continues to flourish and has stimulated increased interest in the field of Chinese photovoltaics. Situated in China’s economic powerhouse of Shanghai we are well placed to profit from this increased interest.

China New Energy Chamber of Commerce is working in conjunction with various related domestic departments to organise the Expo, including the Government Bureau of Energy Development and Reform Commission, the NPC Environmental and Resources Protection Committee, and the Office of the State Council in charge of energy sector participation. Thanks to cooperation agreements with organisations from abroad, including the Spanish Solar Association, Law Society of Environment & Energy, Norwegian Energy & Environment Association, China-EU Chamber of Commerce, Federation of British trade, United States Renewable Energy Council, the number of foreign enterprises attending the fourth AsiaSolar Expo is expected to be the highest yet. Our collaboration with many well-known domestic and foreign media will help publicise this event around the world.

We are planning a more comprehensive supporting Auxiliary Program, to include daily meetings, seminars, and panel discussions in topics beyond the scope of the Technical Program. We hope that this Auxiliary Program will attract many people to the conference who might not normally attend the Technical Program. Shanghai is located in a beautiful area of China and the supporting program includes many leisure activities to help enhance your visit.
